I am going to install my APC Racing seat with 4 point harness soon and was wondering if anyone has done this to a 96-00 civic before and has any advice they would like to share.

Re: APC Seat install

I think they should bolt into the stock sliders. Someone correct me if I'm wrong. If they don't you're going to either a) get sliders that work with them or b) permently mount them where you want them. I think they work with the stock sliders though. Should just bolt right in.

And yea let us know how they look/feel when your done. I was thinking about getting them b/c they look the same as most of the other racing seats out there and they're cheap. Let us know how much better the ride comfort is.

Re: APC Seat install

As I said I think they just bolt right in. Just unbolt your stock seats, slide the stock ones out and put the APC ones in. You could just go to a Kragen (I know they sell them there) and ask them if it's a direct bolt on for stock seats or if they have any installation instructions.

Tell me how you feel after you have been in an accident.

Indeed, you pay for what you get... compressed spine and all.

This .. coming from a 17year old that drives a passat. They have to give you better support than the busted out stockers. After all who want's to pay $300 bucks for a name stitched on and not proven to be better or worse.

As for the spine comment, I have a busted up spine and it was from the stock seats and an accident. I wish I had an APC seat then.

And by the way do you have any experience with these seats? Huh what was that I cant hear you. I didn't think so.

I like the seats and laa tee duh to you.
