Unhappy Door locks going loco

Ok sometimes they work, sometimes they don't
I have a 93, with a aftermarket Viper alarm/starter/door opener system.
Heres the deal, normaly when i turn off the engine the doors automatically open and likewise when I start the car ( they auto lock after 3 seconds).
Sometimes they won't lock and sometimes they won't auto open!
If i turn the ignition to the on then off position a few times this usually gets them back to working order. sometimes I have to start the engine.
Sometimes opening and closing the doors with the remote a few times gets it to work also. Funny thing is when I use the remote the lights still flash on and off, but no lock function.
Also when I am having this issue none of the door lock buttons on any of the doors work, but the power window do.
Somebody please give me a clue where to start. I checked the fuses and they look fine, I'm gonna check the relays under the pass dash when i get a chance, hopefully tomorrow, but if anybody has any advise i'de appreciate it.

thanx, Mark

Re: Door locks going loco

Sounds like a faulty install of the alarm. Have the green and blue wires off the alarm checked.
