2.4L Ecotec

I'm looking for a 2.4L Ecotec crate engine. I haven't had any luck finding them on the web...anyone have any sites that you can purchase them? Also need the manual tranny for it. I'm looking to do the motor swap, but I need the motor first. Thanks for the help!

Re: 2.4L Ecotec

If it's that big of a pain in the ass, I'll settle for the 2.2L ecotec....which I know where to find. I'd much rather have the 2.4, but I don't care as long as I get rid of the 2.2 OHV and auto tranny!

Re: 2.4L Ecotec

There's not too much of a difference between the 2.4 eco and the 2.2 eco. But for the sake of ease, go with the 2.2 eco.

I'll second that, although there is a GM supercharger kit, I would still go with turbo, may take a little more time and money, but it will be worth it not to have the power-robbing SC pulley...

I'm willing to spend whatever just about, I drive with an iron foot, and I'm not afraid to admit it, and it is my daily driver. I was thinking of getting an electronic boost controller if I went with the turbo.
