Trouble with Airbrush

My Testors (dual action) airbrush ain't going right. The little jar that holds the paint, there's a black cap for it that attaches to the airbrush, and on the cap there's suppose to be a little hole.

So there I go trying to apply Future wax to the model. But the bloody stuff comes out of that little hole instead of the airbrush! what the heck is going on? I mean, that stuff was literally spraying in my face! When I tried to block the hole, the airbrush just squirted the Future out like a hose.... sigh... I gave up after several tries...

Anyone know what went wrong?!

Is it internal or external mix?

I'm unsure of the terminology used, but it works as follows...

1) Jar of paint clips onto airbrush from the side
2) The paint enters a chamber where the air enters from the source
3) Everything is fed into this needle-like apparatus

So I suppose this is internal mix?

Sounds like your airbursh just needs a good cleaning. Use ammonia to clean dried Future.
