headlights shaking

When im drivin down the road and i hit a bump my headlights shake. one alot more than the other. Ive taken off the trim around the lights and looked, but didnt see anything that would solve it. Does anyone know how to tighten up the lights? i have a 3.8 96 bird. thanks

Re: headlights shaking

tighten everything up and then make sure they are completely in the open position using the manual knob when you turn them on. Might be a stripped gear as well.

everything is tight.i think its the two metal pieces that go from the motor to the head light. the ones that raise the headlight up and down. but im not sure. i guess ill try replacing the fasteners that allow them to rotate
