injector cleaner from gm

Hi, A while back I read a thread about a cleaner that is only available thru a GM dealer. It is for cleaning off the carbon on the poppets in the injector. I can not find this thread again. I was wondering if anyone else has heard of this?

Thanks Dwight

Re: injector cleaner from gm

maxwedge is correct. GM fuel system treatment and Chevron Techron injector cleaner are manufactured by the same company and are extremely similiar formulas. The main difference is that the stuff from GM is $25 a bottle and Techron is only $10 for a 20 ounce bottle. IMO Techron is just as good (if not better) than the cleaner available through GM.
