Throw Out Bearings
My TOB (Throw Out Bearings) is makeing a clicking nosie when it is idleing in neutral. I took my car ("00 GT) back to where I purchased it and where it is under warranty at and I was told "Mitsubishi says this is a problem that doesnt need repaired", so there for they will not fix it under my warranty. Is this some BS or what??? Thanks for everyones input!!!

Re: Throw Out Bearings
they also won't fix a noisy fuel pump.
i agree it is BS, but the design of it from the factory is not defective... it's just noisy Everyone that owns a 3g w/ a manual is sol on that one

Re: Throw Out Bearings
I agree on that one. I replaced my clutch and flywheel not to long ago and when you do that you normally change out your TOB. Well it's only been 2 months since the change and the sound is back. Correct me if I am wrong but the sound goes away when you push the clutch in. Just figured it was the TOB. And the noisy fuel pump is when you start your car right. You hear a grinding sound or something in that line. I have both those problems.
