quick question, will the monsoon cd player work in the 93-97 models. Ive been looking for a gm cd player for my 94 but to no avail. didn't know if i would need different connectors and if i had to get the monsoon speakers. Again will i need to change the connectors to the speakers or are they the same. thanks again guys

Any radio unit you find in any 3rd or 4th gen Camaro of Firebird will be a direct swap. No wire cutting at all, just a direct swap. You won't need to upgrade to new speakers unless you so desire to. I know there are other GM cars and trucks that you could swap the stereo's with, but not off the top of my head. If it's the same size and width as your current stock stereo, then odds are you can swap them out.

Well, it's actually alot easier if you just buy this little wiring harness to install aftermarket stereos:

Then you won't have to cut a single wire. And if you ever decide to put the stock radio back in, to perhaps sell the car, then all you have to do is disconnect the wiring harness and reconnect the stock radio back up. Just alot cleaner and easier to do IMO. And since you have to buy an antenna adapter, then why not get one of those too.
