There seems to be some company in Canada selling JDM engines and trannies. The bad part is that he does not claim to know the mileage on any of them, but says they're between 10k-55k...... alot can happen to a car in those miles. I just wanted to ask if anyone here has ordered anything like that before, and if so how'd it go? Also, I'm not entirely sure about the diff between the us version and the jdm one...if any....some info would be appreciated, thanks guys...

Re: JDM Engines/trannies on Ebay
Most places dont know the milage on the engines, they just lie to you. The only way to know the milage on at engine is to buy a front clip.

Re: JDM Engines/trannies on Ebay
well mainly cause I'm going to buy a vr4 very soon, and I would like to get a 1st gen, but it's getting hard to find those with under 100k miles and I'm thinking about slowly building another engine till I'm either ready to drop it in, or the current one takes a dump, or just replace it with a lower mileage engine. Oh the choices.....not to mention that somewhere along the line, I'm gonna need to replace the trannie. But the whole JDM engine thing is just cause thats all I found on ebay yesterday.... : /
