one can should be good enough for about two models, if you're lucky then three.

Hi, NoBrakes.

For my first model I use more than one can because I made a lot of mistakes and had to do it again.

In the second one I use less than one.

So my average is one can for model, but I'm a beginner.

Orlando.

I used about 3/4 of a can on a bike...depends on what you plan on doing to the paint coat. If you're going to polish with sandpaper you'll want a lot of coats so you might have to use one whole can. If you're going to clearcoat all you need to do is get proper coverage, so less paint will be used, etc.

I normally can get 2 out of a can, which has been convenient, since that's also how many times I've ended up stripping and re-painting some models.

I have used one whole can and then more of Gunze Mr. Color Black spray before, and have recently dumped a whole can of Tamiya Black on to another model. So, for some reason, I use more black...
