Re: Mm... some Cf progression.

I bought it used for $250 along with a set of CF fenders for $200 and another $50 in product to remove all the oxidized crap off the finish + around 6 hours hand polishing all of it.

Re: Mm... some Cf progression.

Next step is i have to wait till thursday to by myself a torx bit set since GM likes to attach the stock mud flap guard with them and thats one tool i don't have.. DOH! After that is remove the fenders, remove the front bumpers. Clean everything up inside all those hard to get locations, widen the hole that my CAI passes through so it will fit more properly, so i need to take a hammer and beat some metal a little bit near the battery tray, Splice some wires for the 2000+ headlight swap, determine whether or not i should get the backet to hold the 00+ corner lamp in place or wing it, then trim the crush guard to fit the type J, install the CF Fenders, trim off the 95-99 corner marker bracket off those... then install my BAER Decela rotors and hawk pads... Oh i have a huge list to pound out. I am sooo glad i finished up with college on monday!

They are ok as long as you don't live in a bad area. Or just have a hood sensor on your alarm

Re: Mm... some Cf progression.

Hood pins are a safety reassurance that the thing dosn't come loose from the hinge and fly up and slam into my windsheild. This thing is crazy light and i'll rock the hood pins over the cost of fixing a broken windsheild and damage to the roof of my car thank you...
