2000 Jetti starts, then immediatly stalls?
Hi ho to all who took the time to read this thread!
 My nieghbor has a 2000 Jetta, and two days ago it started with this problem. She goes to start it up, it cranks, then fires, then immediatly stalls out...  All the fuses were checked (I'm not sure if Jetta ties in a fuel pump or regulator into the fuse panel, but I chkd anyway), and none were blown. It obviously gets spark becuase it starts, but it acts like its not getting fuel. No smoke from the exhaust, and it has no problem cranking. Any help or suggestions would be great! Thanks again...

Check the coil packs on the car, the coil packs are the things the spark plugs are connected to. Since we dont have spark plug wires (where you can tell if they are going bad). The pack might need to be changed, they usually run for 70, if that doesnt fix it then get a mechanic to check it. Also does a Check engine light come on? if so what code does it read?
