Exclamation 1994 antifreeze leaking

im working an a 1994 jetta w/ the 2.0L 5 speed. Its leaking anti-freeze, around the lower radiator hose. it doesnt appear as if the hose is leaking, however the power steering hose directly below it how alot of antifreeze on it. is it common for the radiator to be leaking right below the lower hose? thats about the only spot it looks like its coming from. anyway to fix the radiator? and how do i test it since, i personally havent seen it leak, but you can see that it certainly has been.
so if i fix it, how much should i charge, assuming it's actually is the radiator.
any help is greatly appreciated.
thanks

Re: 1994 antifreeze leaking

Check the seap port on your water pump. It is very common for the water pump to start leaking at the shaft. This is the usual way that they fail. Once the grease has been removed from the bearings that the collant is flowing through it will start squealing. After that you have about a week before all your coolant gushes out.
