Help, 97 Grand Marquis the flashers and turn signal have stopped working

Help please, I have a 97 Grand Marquis and the flashers and turn signal have stopped working. I was told it was probably my flasher. I looked in my owners manual and can't find where this is. Does this sound like it’s my problem? If so where is this located and what does it look like?

The flashing is controlled by the lighting control module. I would start by checking the turn signal/brake lamps.

Not sure why my edit didn't so up. I did it a few days ago.
Problem solved. I shot WD40 down in the hole where the flaser button thing is and kept moving the button from side to side. This worked for me. I read in the Ford forum to try this
