Biggest rim size

I would like to know if 20 inch rims will fit on my intrigue without modifing anything? If not what is the biggest , 18's?

I was told by discount tire that I could go to 20's with out any modification

take a tire off and match it up with the new rim and tire combination. I wouldn't go much over the stock diameter of the existing tire for clearance. = New rims and tires are ok, but the overall diameter can't be much bigger than what the car already has.

Then you may want to think suspension/ride quality. My 2000 Intrigue is fairly stiff, but my dad's 99 is more soft/plush.

You may also want to consider a brake system upgrade. Bigger wheels will be more strain on the current braking system. Maybe look into the autobahn brake package people on this forum advocate.
