Is it just me or are Utah drivers STUPID!

Maybe some of the other Utah people here can relate. I mean the usual things get on my nerves but today this one took the cake. I was headed down to XTR Motorsports in Orem to ask the guys some questions. To get to the freeway I have to head trough American Fork, and to get to American Fork I have to traverse through suburbia hell. Well I am going down the road at about 55 MPH in a 45 MPH zone. I see this Expedition pull up to turn ahead. I don't think she will because it is pretty damn close, but no she pulls out and I have to slam on my brakes to keep from slamming into her damn SUV. There was no reason she couldn't have waited, there wasn't anybody behind me. This pisses me off, so I tail her to let her know I'm not happy about it. So in turn she starts tapping her brakes. I'm not going to play this damn game so I back off and try to be the better person. I am about two car lengths behind her and she keeps tapping her brakes. I am just thinking what the hell lady; you're starting to really piss me off. Finally she just stops in the middle of the damn road! There are about five cars behind me now because of her braking and now she is holding us all up because she is a dumb bitch! I am not putting up with this shit, so I veer onto the shoulder and floor it. She floors it to cut me off. When that failed she tried swerving and running me off the damn road. I mean, what are people thinking? This woman should be hung by her toes and beaten like a dirty rug. I just get so sick of people sometimes.

Damn SUV drivers, there are so many of them too. I mean they think because they are bigger than anything else they can just plow neone over.

Last week i was with a friend in his M3 and he was trying to pass this lady in a Excursion and she was goin like 70 and he wanted to pass so he flicked the signal and pulled into the passing lane. She got pissed and swerved into the passing lane to cut him off. So he moved into the other lane and floored it. She moved over and he was forced to the side of the road and she moved onto the shoulder to let some shitty Pilot by and we drove into a fuckin field. I was like a scene from a movie. We spun like 2wice. My friend got pissed and got back on the road and caught up with soccer mom bitch and got her plate and called the cops.. they came..pulled her over... she got $500 worth of tickets (road rage etc) PLUS she got to pay for my buddys broken front bumper (which was broken when he went off the road)

some guy did this to me once when i did nothing to him he acclerated in front of me and started slamming his brakes infront of me and cutting me up i couldn't get passed him

well ya know what hit shit himself when i went around him in the middle of the intersection where there wasn't a lane infront of me so then i cut infront of me and hand braked it into a side road THAT SHIT HIM UP THE FUCKING WANKER -
its much better when you actually have a car with power because i fainted and slammed my foot down and all i heard was NEEEEEEEEE
and the other car just cut me up again


but yea some SUV reversed out infront of me once and that pissed me off so i over took him (in a text book no no i did it right in a T junction) i am not sane

there was this other time when this truck was tailgating me for no reason i was going at a reasonable pace 55 in a 45. he just tail gated me neadless to say i slowed down he changed lanes i sped up he cuts across all the lanes to the opposite one goes around and nearly crashes into me cutting me up. THEN I BE PISSED. nah not really he expected me to swerve or something but i drove in a straight line and shit him up real good cuz his loverly shiny Ford F350 woulda been beaten up by my shitty corolla if he did... and it was already scratched at the front

seriously, we have some of the craziest drivers and considering about half the automobiles in my city are big-ass trucks, my little RAV4 gets bitchslapped by thes huge trucks

and crazy bitches in their huge-ass suv's piss me off cause they really dont know how to drive..i mean i can get crazy in my car, but i dont get crazy in rush hour like these idiots

also most trucks think they can change lanes in a turn without signaling, i cant count how many times ive almost been sideswiped by idiots not turning into the lane they came from

oh and if there's an anti-mom suv club count me in that shit

It's Utah drivers, I swear.

1. Last year, I was on the freeway, cresting a hill, when an unsecured 12' extension ladder fell off a flatbed trailer and went through the radiator of the car I was passing. Rather than walk the 200 ft to get his damn ladder, the guy pulling the trailer put his truck IN REVERSE on the fucking FREEWAY up a HILL. This is right after the crest so everyone coming over the hill cannot see him until they're on top of him.

2. I was on the freeway a few months ago when some idiot's tire fell off of his unlicensed un-safety-inspected trailer and came careening at me. Thank goodness I managed to avoid the thing. I HATE TRAILERS.

3. In Feb. my lil Sentra was totaled after an 85 yr. old man tried to turn left across a double yellow (illegal) in a 45, and stopped right in front of my car. I slammed on the brakes and the horn, skidded for 30 feet and hit him. Couldn't change lanes, there was a car next to me.

4. 3 days later, in the same stretch of road, the exact same thing happened again, except I was driving a rental, and it was an idiot teenage girl in a lt. green New Beetle (watch out for New Beetles, esp. lt. green ones). This time I was able to avoid hitting her. She turns into the Kmart and I leave her a darned nasty note. (all I have time for as I'm on the way to work)

5. A month later THE SAME DAMN BEETLE on the same stretch of road drives at 35 for a half-mile in the suicide lane, then tries to change lanes into the Buick in the front left of me, then tries to change lanes into MY NEW CAR, then turns into the Kmart. I leave her a darned nasty note again, as I'm on the way to work.

6. A month later on the SAME stretch of road, I come upon an entire couch sitting in both northbound lanes of traffic. What the hell???

7. A month ago I watched 6 cars run the same light all at once, which had been red for 3 seconds. If I'd begun my left turn, I would've been dead 6 times over. Always check for red-light runners before pulling out.

8. Oh, don't know if any of the other cities have this problem (Vegas doesn't) but here in St. George people don't seem to understand intersection lines. Know how at the stop light in an intersection, there are 3 lines? You stop behind the first one, and the next two mark the crosswalk, right guys? Well, people here seemingly think you're supposed to pull forward until your SUV straddles all three. (This especially applies if your SUV is in the left turn lane. Wouldn't want any of those right-turning people to see oncoming traffic, would we?)

9. Three days ago, I was turning right onto a two lane road (one lane each way). A BMW was turning from the opposite direction, turning left, so we both were turning into the same lane. I went first because I had the first gap in traffic and because right turns have the right of way. But the idiot lady in the Bimmer guns it to try to beat me for the lane and tries to push my Infiniti off the road.

10. We've just had 4 fatal rollovers in 3 days (this is in a town of about 100k). One guy accidentally flipped his Miata, he'd been drinking, and wearing his seatbelt, but in a little convertible with no rollbar, a seatbelt won't help if you land on your head. The other 3 were SUVs, 1 with alcohol involved, all with no belts. When will the idiot SUV drivers realize that

a. They have ridiculously incompetent brakes (1.5 times the stopping distance of average car)
b. Their handling is subpar
c. Traction control does NOT mean you can go 85 in pouring rain
d. They ought to glance towards the road once in a while
e. Seatbelts are handy in a rollover
f. Drinking, surprisingly, is bad when you're driving

In summary, why are people so stupid?? Why??

i'll agree on both things too maybe a point. I used to live there like 3 weeks ago but now i'm in england and what happens in england? Old people the most dangerous thing since the rocket propelled hand grenade cuz there's always some stupid old codger that shouldn't have a license driving the wrongway Down the motorway (Freeway)........

altho those old people in lincolns tend to do whatever they want because

and NSX-R-SSJ20K i know how you feel...a friend of mine went to england and there was this old guy with a lincoln and he was driving through an intersection and my friend pulled out and the old guy stopped IN THE MIDDLE and wouldn't move until everyone else cleared out of the way and when he did he swerved in my friends way and ended up causing an accident...
