Speakers!!!

yeah, i want some new speakers for me car. I am looking for some 4 x 6" ones because then I would need no fabrication. Are jbl GTO6426 speakers good, my friend has a pair of jbls in his altima but Im not sure what kind, and they have awesome bass. Also what about Blaupunkt PCx462 speakers? would they have great bass like my friends jbls? what can I look for in speakers that would let me know if they will have good bass or not, and subs are out of the question.

Re: Speakers!!!

Well since your not looking for the best sound quality, the jbl's would do but 4x6 speakers arent the greatest for reproducing sound.

Check these out yeah i know there infinity but there better than half the other shit ive seen people use for speakers. Go with the plate style speakers they have the best sound for that setup i have the kappa's in the front of my blazer with an amp sounds awsome (yeah im saving for some comps). Blaupunkt well they just suck.

Don't ever look at cars as just imports or domestics. Just because a car is made in a certain country doesn't mean that it is anything like another car from that country. An example of this is Mitsubishi reliability, just because they are Japanese doesn't mean that they are as reliable as a Honda or Toyota.

Re: Speakers!!!

I have polk momo plate speakers up front, they are OK. I dont really like the Idea of plate speakers, I guesse I need to go to car audio shops and look around and listen and stuff. Oh and subs are not really out of the question..,. just for now they are. Oh, and about how much work would it be to fit 6"X9"s in it, Could I just make some kind of baffle that will hold it up higher? Well Ill have to make some measurements before I do any of that.
