Hi, I have a question? I just purchased a 87 Chevy Celebrity Eurosport and have a question about the power windows? The question is are the passenger windows controled on a seperate relay or is the switch wired seperatly for the drivers and pasenger side? The switch operates the drivers side windows fine but will not operate the pasenger side.I think that is kind of odd and dont feel that both window motors on one side would not work and brings me to think it is the switch or a specific relay. Thanks

Re: 1987 Chevy Celebrity Power Window Question
All the wiring in most power window systems goes through the master switch (driver door switch) before going to the other switches. I would start there. Usually there is only one relay or fuse and each individual motor has a circiut breaker.

Re: 1987 Chevy Celebrity Power Window Question
Do you happen to know what pins i would check for continuity for the other windows or what wire i would check for power on the passenger motors? Thank You

Re: 1987 Chevy Celebrity Power Window Question
try and fing a wiring diagram for that particular window circuit. It shouldn't be to complicated. If I have time on monday I will print out one so I can look at it and try to give more info. I have access to a database of service literature through school.
