hard time starting

this morning i had a hard time starting it would sputer had to put it to the floor then it started right up
the check engine is on now. runs good getting 34 mpg it's a 1.9 98 satern
the check engine was on a week ago then went off untill today.
i would like to check the codes what is a cheep code tester and what do you think i should check.

codes till me oc senser riplaced
now check engen still on started good runs good how do i reset
or could there be still somthing rong

If you want to reset the computer, just remove the neg. battery cable for a few minutes.

Can you describe the problem a little bit more, or did you fix it already?

with obd 2 you reset it by removing the code with a scanner. others just pull the positive cable from the battery for 30 mins to reset everything.
