Information

Currently, I have a 1987 Porsche 944 to which I’m thinking of selling and buying a newer vw GTI. I was wondering if you guys could give me a little advice as to what I should look for in a GTI. I am going off to college so reliability is a must. Also, i was wondering if there are many mods available for the 1.8 turbo (I know moding a car will make it less reliable but I just want to know for future possibilities.) how is the MPG? And any stock specs will be useful. I’m looking to buy a 2000-2002. Any help would be great appreciated.

There is a huge aftermarket for the 1.8T so that wont be a problem. It will get you about 22-24 mpg. It about 180 hp and 180 tq.

...Correct me if I'm wrong.
