'99 Eurovan wheel interchange question
Hey there. I just bought this '99 Eurovan to use as my shop vehicle for hauling motorcycles:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...MEWN%3AIT&rd=1 The seller actually let me have it for $5900 and I had a pre-purchase insepction done at a local shop there in Columbia, MO., and the van basically was as described according to Walt at Walt's Service. Anyway, after I get it to Seattle, I will be installing H and R Cup suspension. Also, I like the look of the later model 16" x 7" wheels so I bought these: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...MEWA%3AIT&rd=1 The local VW dealership (Campbell-Nelson) who also sells used parts told me these 2003 model year wheels are a direct fit onto my '99, so I went ahead and bought them. The funny thing is, the person selling these wheels told me that his local shop said the brake calipers on his 2000 model year Eurovan would not allow these wheels to bolt on to his '00 model. So I've got a bit of conflicting information. I'm getting the wheels regardless, so does anyone know if these '03 wheels will bolt on to my '99?
