Maybe off topic? But I wanted to share my new car with you old friends

Hey guys, I'm still around but crazy busy lately. Moving closer to a lot of you in a few days. Im going to be living in Phoenix with my girlfriend on Friday (the 19th) from now on. Anyways, as you know I ditched the hatch and got an A4 that was totalled out. Heres what I've been doing the last couple months...
I bought it off a salvage auction and did all the work myself. New parts are timing belt, radiator, intercooler, snub mount, tranny mount, couple pulleys and brackets, exh side of turbo, oil pan, a lot of random crap... Repaired just about every panel on the car. Drivers side fender was torn, roof had hail damage, trunk had 3 deep gouges/folds in it, drivers door had a huge outtie dent, hood had an even bigger outtie dent, doors had dings and scratches all over, front bumper was torn. Had it on the frame machine for a few hours straightening things out. The paint I used is Laser Red (stock red) Tell me what you think...
Bought it like this...

I should have taken more progess pictures...

Today...

So what had happened to that thing anyway? You can see that the gnine mount is toast in the oil pan shot..mustve been pretty messed up.

Seems like he ran over something like a tall curb or something like that. The bottom took a good hit.

Yeah, or the turbo...That would have been nasty as well.

Re: Maybe off topic? But I wanted to share my new car with you old friends

Those engines are tough. Same one in my wife's car... I think the Audi computer is a little more aggressive though. 91civichatch2571, you might can help me out here. The part the oil filter is attached has 2 coolant lines running into it. The adapter part that holds the oil filter is leaking a tad on my wife's car between where the 2 pieces of metal join together. I don't know what this part is called though. I think the shop that does our oil changes might have fucked it up somehow. Would some jb be a cheap fix or should I just pay out for the new oil filter adapter part thing? BTW, even with the coolant dripping out and the light even coming on the car never got hot. Tough bitch.

Anyway, your car looks good. Too bad you didn't want an automatic VW with the same engine because I could've hooked you up with my wife's car for a good deal and saved you a lot of work... haha.
