NNL East Swag!

Well NNL East was a blast despite my pulling an all nighter finishing up the Mustang Convertable. I literally was gluing on the last bits as we drove there LOL. Got to meet more AFers Gridgirl, MPWR, HobbyNutt, and 935K ( who is a MAMA member but I never put the connection together, we need to start talking more, we have very similar taste in subjects). There were 450+ models on display, and about 400 in attendance. Record numbers but seemed small after going to NNL East this year. Great vendors as well and i scored a bunch of great kits. Here they are:

to my surprise, i discovered while driving home that this XKE box is stuffed full with 2 Coupe kits and 1 roadster! not bad for $10. The GTO kit is the same as the Rev of Germany kit but i collect these yellow box Testors kits. My first model ever was one of these Testors kits back in the 80's so if anybody has any they dont want send me a PM.

And the score of the day>>>>>

Very excited about the Gunze 250 Hi Tech should be starting this one soon!

Pics of the show: http://public.fotki.com/mamaprez/mod...-atlantic_nnl/

And here is a line up of the usual suspects, saying good byes with our empty wallets....

Please post your kit buys, except for Frank cus that would take up 4 pages LOL

Re: NNL East Swag!

Nice score on the Gunze Ferrari! Gorgeous car and from what I understand, a gorgeous though finicky kit! Very cool, I'm super jealous. Also, do you have plans for allll those XKEs?

I like your shirt, too.

Just giving you a hard time Frank, you were really conservative compared the NNL East. It was just hallarious that you were carrying around your kits in a trash bag LOL. Wish i had a pic

It was great meeting you guys, nice to have some faces to the names. Here's my swag

The cat didn't actually come from NNL, but she seems to think that my swag is pretty cool.

There were so many cool F1 kits that it was hard to pick (but now I'm ready if open wheel is picked for the motorsport competiton). I couldn't resist the cabriolet, I tried for most of the day, but when that vendor dropped to half price I weakened almost instantly.
