new stereo system... need help

alright I own a 2000 vw jetta glx with the monsoon system in it, however I cracked one of my speakers doing god knows what so I would like to install a new system. I need some help trying to bypass the stock amp tho because the people that are going to install my new system were trying to charge me 70 dollars just to bypass it on top of the installation fee they were already charging me.

Seeing as I do not own that much money right now (apart from what I have to get the system) I wanted to give it a shot and do it myself.

so does anyone have helpful suggestions that they could give me. I already tried searching the forum for a thread that could help me but after a while of doing so I have come up with nothing so I figured I would just try and ask.

any help will be greatly appreciated.
