88 pulsar question

My Pulsar has the little 1.6L in it but I have a 91 stanza thats pretty worse for wear apart from the engine. What are the logistics of putting the ka24e in the 88 Pulsar and would parts need to be manufactured to do so?

Re: 88 pulsar question

The "logistics" of putting the ka24e in the 88 pulsar is to gather together all your money in a big pile, and light it on fire!!!! no seriously.....it will NOT be easy. For starters, take some measurements....Firewall to radiator, shock tower to shock tower.... Be sure to measure the transmission too. It might fit, but it would take alot of work. Look where the engine mounts are on each engine, are they in similar locations? If they're close, you may be able to fabricate adapters of some sort....but if they're in radically different locations, you may have to fabricate an engine subframe (assuming there's room)......I would recommend chopping the entire drivetrain and subframe from the ka24e and stuffing it under the hatch of the pulsar....RWD!!!!!
