'85 Z28 - No Cruise, switch works

Hey all,

Got my Camaro a few days ago...don't know why I bought GM again with all of the horrible experiences I have had with my Buick. But I have been happy with it so far... I guess...

Right now, I am trying to solve the cruise problem. I verified continuity for all the cruise switch inputs, and they're fine. Also hooked up the cruise under the hood - when I got it the throttle cable was tucked away... vacuum and electrial connections seem fine on it.

Any idea where to look now? Stoplight / clutch switches? Cruise module? The cruise thing under the hood?

Re: '85 Z28 - No Cruise, switch works

Be careful. When I first got my 85 IROC the cable to the cruise was not hooked up and I (stupidly) hooked it back up. I was just cruising around and all of a sudden the car kept accelerating and would not stop... not a good situation. Cruise has not been hooked up since. Anyways, it's probably a bad cruise control module.
