dim headlights
I have just bought a 1995 trans sport. The headlights are not very bright, especially on dipped setting. The reflective surface inside the light appears to be ok. The vortage supply to the lights with motor running is 13.7 Can anyone suggest how to improve the lights?

Re: dim headlights
If the 95's suffer from the same problems as the newer 97+ style, the solution is to get a different vehicle. Our lights have always been dim.

Re: dim headlights
All these plastic lenses are scrap. The are OK for a year or 2 then turn to the milky way by erosion and contamination. I had got the chance to swap my'93 plastics for '91 glass when vehicle was almost new..but scrapped one since and had to reinstall plastic on one side.
I have installed long range glass optics in place of the ...parking lights in the bumper... and relocated the parkings in the gillle.
