plates question

i couldnt find a better forum for this, or one with more knowledgable people so bear with me

mmkay, im gonna be getting my new car soon, but i wanted to know if it was ok if i put the plates on my current car on the new one so i could drive it back home (its a 300 mile trip), or is that very illegal? I dont want to have to tow it, cause it's a royal pain in the ass to do that.

mmkay thanx for the input.:sun:

I'm only 15 but my family has had to do this a lot but I'm thinking you can do it for like a month, switch plates like that, until you get new plates.

Different states have different laws though so.....good luck!

Do not switch plates. If the seller is signing over the title when the car changes hands, just show that if you get pulled over...
