i couldnt find a better forum for this, or one with more knowledgable people so bear with me
![]() mmkay, im gonna be getting my new car soon, but i wanted to know if it was ok if i put the plates on my current car on the new one so i could drive it back home (its a 300 mile trip), or is that very illegal? I dont want to have to tow it, cause it's a royal pain in the ass to do that. mmkay thanx for the input.:sun:

I'm only 15 but my family has had to do this a lot but I'm thinking you can do it for like a month, switch plates like that, until you get new plates.
Different states have different laws though so.....good luck! ![]() ![]()

Do not switch plates. If the seller is signing over the title when the car changes hands, just show that if you get pulled over...
