worst day ever...and it's only 9am

So ever have one of those days, that you wake up on a floor next to some random people, an hour away from home, wondering how you are going to make it back in 10 minutes.

Well I had one of those days. Woke up (not that I got more htan 25 mins of sleep) on a floor in downtown Philly, realizing my mom needed her car in t-minus 10 minutes. After another 5 mins of awakening, and the realization that despite being the designated driver last night, I reeked of booze, I hopped in the car and burnt rubber.

Funny thing, red lights are put entirely too close together in downtown Philly. As I careened around my first turn at 75mph, while the first light was green, the one 25ft past it happened to be red. I locked up the brakes, but I was already screwed. I took my mom's subaru right into the front bumper of some Dodge caravan.

Luckily everyone, including the dog in the guy's van was ok, the korn cd barely skipped, and my mom's car was surprisingly, undamaged. But I ruined the guy's front bumper. So surprise surprise...i'm late, reek like booze, AND just got in a fricking accident! WOOO!~

It's an hour later, and as of now, I think the guy agreed to settle out of court/police/blah blah blah. My first accident with another car, luckily it wasn't the vr4, but damn did it suck. I high-tail it home, disregaurding any and all speed limites, make it home in ridiculously good time, and get to tell my mom, that in the past 2 weeks, I've managed to get a speeding ticket, parking ticket, and a collision, all in her car! Happy mother's day!

I blame it all on the booze, same reason I dont drink! it just builds too much trouble.

lol...ya should have went out friday night instead like me. Glad to hear your ok though man...and glad to hear the vr4 wasnt involved. On the other hand, if you were in the 3k, you wouldnt have got in an accident becasue you would have been able to stop in time lol...

Is this after the night you talked to me and said i'm entirley to drunk. What was it 12 beers was like feeling good 15 they usally start bitching 20 they start encouring more. And you siad i'm encouraged plus 3 then 2sec later you said nvm plus 4. Lol glad to hear everyone was ok though.

Yeah, this was.

I guess the post was unclear, but I wasn't driving drunk. I was supposed to be a designated driver, but got wasted instead, so friend A drove the car to pick up friend B, I just went along for the ride. But because friend A was driving, and everybody else was drunk, he decided to take a detour to some house party on the other side of the city. Which is where I woke up. Friends A and B having hooked up with some random girls had already left.

Speeding caused the accident, not drinking. I wasn't drunk, just smelled like it from spilled beer and whatnot.

So looking at the car, I'm really wondering how fast the collision was. Because I swear somehow the Subaru doesn't even look like I damaged the paint.

What a day. Friend B is still MIA.

LOL maybe he found a really atratctive girl and doesn't want to be found. Had that happen a few friends not hear from them for a few days. Then they show up and its like Where in the HELL where you. I hooked up with a hot chick, and spent the last few days with her. Me did she have a friend him yup me ASS HOLE call me next time.

Just remember to take care of yourself. I'd hate to end up reading a post about how you broke an arm and a leg taking a corner too fast in your moms car. Or, even worse, totalling the VR4 ><

It seems like whenever you get into any kind of trouble on the road you are in your mom's Subaru. I'm starting to question you actually having a 3/S. But, I am glad to here you're OK.

geez igovert, i know what its like to be late and trying to make time

but my mom always says...speeding because your in a rush isnt always smart...accident or pulled over will kill your time even worse

but of course who always listens to there mother? not me lol....live and learn, try and be a little safer 500
