F1 Spotted in South America

Found these pics, They are from a karting event in South America (Costa Rica) ?? Taken recently, as can be seen by the presence of the Ford gt.

My spanish is not very good, So if anybody can translate from that web page, please do.

Re: F1 Spotted in South America

Thanks for the pictures Le Man. I'd imagine that the car is #068, Frank's old F1 and the one Peloton took a ride in. I'm pretty sure that there is someone here who can give some insight about the event...

I look forward to seeing more pictures from this event.

Re: F1 Spotted in South America

Guys, the car is confirmed as #068. Here's a link to many other great pictures from the event:

A few of them should look pretty familiar.

Re: F1 Spotted in South America

I'll just pop in to clarify a point or two:

Costa Rica is actually in Central America.

The two sets of photos were from different times. The pics we recognize were taken just a few months back, the others from late-2005.

There are more photos out there from the public track event, but unfortunately I didn't save the links when I found them so you'll have to go looking for yourself.

Re: F1 Spotted in South America

This one resides in California though, judging by the plates and previous information. Probably just in Costa Rica for this event.

It was in California only once. That's where Peleton got his ride. It has never had California plates on it in California though........(just to add to the mystery).
