engine scanner buy quuestion

im looking to buy a basic engine code scanner what do you guys think of the ones sold at pep boys i belive they sell a brand called "ACTRON" for 50+ any advice would be great

Code reader only, no live sensor info. A lot of codes will not show either.

Full function Actron is ok, for entry level stuff, no abs or sirs codes or data. Model 9145.
