I just purchased a 00 focus SE and didn't get the remote key fob with the car. Did this come standard option on a 2000 and how do I know if my car will work with a keyless entry? I've seen some for sale on e-bay but would like to know if my car even had the keyless entry to begin with.

The best way to figure this out would be to ask a dealer, or look it up in your owner's manual.

does your car have power locks? if not the light next to the hazard lights switch is just there as a theft deterrent. I think if your car does have power locks then it should have the keyless entry
