I have a 1992 club wagon with a 302, it is suffering with a very high idle. I replaced the TPS and cleaned the Idle air control valve and still am going 35 mph with my foot on the brake. Does anyone out there have any sugestions?

Re: 1992 e-150 club wagon has high idle!
The IAC solenoid CANNOT be cleaned effectively, they must be replaced.
You could also have: -Stuck throttle cable that will not allow the throttles to close fully. -Someone moved the throttle stop screw - NEVER do this. -Vacuum leak (most likely). |
