You should try using the search, the engine in the n/t's are switched around (trans on the drivers side on n/t's but on the passengers side on turbos) you could but the trans in upsidedown and drive in reverse

Re: Help !!! attempting to build 4g64T/ Tranny???

Hes not asking if the turbo tranny will work in a NT spyder, hes just asking if the stock tranny from the NT spyders will be able to withstand the power the turbo will put out. It all depends on how much power. If you build the shit out of it and are laying down 800 hp, no chance. However, it should do great on 250-300hp. Heres my thoughts on building trannies: run it until it breaks then rebuild it with something beefier.

No, actually the tranny in the N/T spyder is in the same place as the turbo cars.

Re: Help !!! attempting to build 4g64T/ Tranny???

i agree with vanilla. It's the same so you could in theory put a 4g63 right up to it i believe. But yes the 4g64's tranny can handle some boost. If you do turbo the 4g64 I believe an article I read said it was good to 8PSI? There is an article on 4g64.com that talks about it try there.
