94 gmc sierra dome light problem

I dont seem to have any light comming from the dome light in my truck. Iv checked all the fuses and nothing seems to b blown i have the floor lights and they were fine, also what i noticed last night was my cabin light * located near the back window outside the truck* is actually not lighting up either as i open the door or anything and it's turned on. this really bothers me and would like to get help on the issue.


Please someone help me out with this problem cus im in the dark...

yes and i can't seem to find out why because i looked through the manual for the truck and it stated that if i were to turn my interior lights on it should come on but since my dome light dont work and only the ligths on the floor do it dont seem to really work. So maybe in some way the dome light and the outside cabin light are connected ? I dont know but hopfully i can find a way to fix it cus iv changed the bulb and the fuses and nothing so im either thinking a ground has gone bad somwhere or the lighting unit has went bad..

pull it off and look at the wiring and see if it came loose

I have a '94 and my cargo light is turned on and off by a switch on the dash next to the head light switch. Have to tried to see if the dome light is good buy using jumper wires (out of the vechile of corse)?
