92 century
my car was acting like the altinator was bad ......dim light and all that.
i had it tested and its ok so i replaced the battery. the car seem to be running ok (have not drove it at night yet) but the battery light is still staying on. |

Check the terminals to the battery and the one on the back of the alternator. If the alternator connection is bad the light will stay on. Also if the terminals or the connections are corroded then the same thing will happen. If you check them and find they are corroded clean them or replace them and the problem should go away.

Checked them too still have the problem.

Have the alternator checked again. Also check to make sure the belt is not slipping. They don't have to squeal to slip enough to prevent proper charging of the battery by the alternator. Obviously there is a problem somewhere.

I guess i will break down and take it to shop. Its 1 belt for all and it seems fine.......i will post after i take it to the shop. Thanks for all the help.
