Red face Headlight Help

So, today I would like to have a meltdown, but instead I am asking for help. I have a limited budget and was curious if I could fix my problem on my own. My headlights will not shut. They are stuck open. I know nothing of the car (to be honest it is my mother's), but would love to take care of this myself (I have been quite capable with my own car). If there are ANY suggestions it would be very much appreciated.

Wishing it's something simple,
Peeps

Re: Headlight Help

Hard to tell without more info. Could be a fuse, could be the motors, could be a bad switch. They're both up and neither will go down? Probably not a motor if that's the case. Don't go down when lights are turned off but will when center switch is pushed? That'd be the switch most like. Both stay up no matter what? Fuse or wiring issue perhaps.

But even with more info you'll almost certainly get better answers at Miata.net's forums.
