Thermostat gasket wont frekin seal!!!!!
Well Ive attempted to seal the frekin themostat gasket twice and with no luck, any advice/ technique?
And yes I use sealant.......

Make sure the surface is clean, if it has the old gasket still stuck on scrape it off or sandpaper works good too. And then RTV the shyt outta the thing. (but let it set a few minutes before you bolt it on)

Make sure the water neck isn't pitted on the surface face causing a seeping issue form electrolisis (worn out coolant actully passing electric current through it)
A vast majority of the times I don't use RTV and have no leaks.

rtv, alot, and let it dry before starting it and stuff. i use the copper rtv, works good

i dont use any, just make sure you surfaces are nice and smooth, the gasket is enough for me
