Unhappy front left blinker light out

There are several things I need to fix in my car (1991 Eclipse GS) but first things first. The front left blinker light isn't working. I replaced the bulb and the problem was not corrected. The back blinker light is in working order so I'm guessing it is a wiring problem but I'm not sure.

Re: front left blinker light out

Could possibly be a bad socket, did you try cleaning the socket?

No I didn't. What should I use to clean it?

Re: front left blinker light out

emery cloth would work fine, if you do not have that just use a real fine piece of sandpaper.

Re: front left blinker light out

alright, I will check it out in the next couple of days. The blinker actually started working again this morning. It rained all last night and I don't know if that could have had something to do it but it has kinda gone off and on sporatically in the last month.

Makes me believe its a bad connection in the socket, so when you clean it up that should solve your problems
