I give up....she's for sale.
She's getting sold in a few days...sucks, but I have to admit defeat. Spending $100+ a week on gas is not what I had in mind...besides the fact she needs a new hood and won't pass inspection. Not good for a daily driver!! The experience was great, and I don't regret doing it, but you gotta know when to back out. With $6grand in the motor, my newfound gas mileage(12per gallon), and fuel prices the way they are...I have to sell her. My buddy is trading her for $2200 and his '98 Cavalier. (more than I could get on ebay or anywhere else) So I'm happy. Besides, he'll treat her right. He wants to do a big block swap. (subframe connectors, what?) lol At least I know I won't be selling her to some punk kid who's gonna beat on her. So behave, gentlemen.

Yeah...If I was 25 and had the money to have two cars, I'd get the collector insurance. Maybe I'll get a fourth gen (FI!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!THANK GOD) lol

lol, i dont really care bout gas, i dont drive much anyways. i live in a small town. cocoa beach. i never drive more then 3 miles. well enless im leaving. but thats not tooo often. but its worth it either way. and im planning on selling my car in a year. then im wanna get a 02 ws6. then ill be at college. but at least you ot a car and some cash. nice work. but you just cant replace a camaro

I have owned a few carbed cars. Never really got into them too much. I am proud to say my LT1 is making close to 500 horse currenty and can get damn near 30 MPG highway, although who knows once the paxton is on what my mileage will look like. Although my uncle who has had a few supercharged cars said it won't hurt it that bad unless you nail it. I am surprise my Achieva doesn't get better gas mileage though. She is probably in the high 20's as well highway and with such a light car I would have thought low 30's but oh well.

Most third gens suck the gas like nothing else.....I dont really know about the 4th gens though.........
