so to start out i have just bought a 88 acura integra LS dohc car for really cheep so i thoght it was a good deal for just needing a clutch so i did so and after doing i noticed that it has a weird oil leek i looked at it from top to bottom and i could not find it until i looked under the exhaust sheild and it LOOKS like it is coming from where the head and the block meets just behind the exhaust in the front? so in my experence i have Never seen a car that leeks oil from the head before coolent or at least burning coolent, so i took a peek, there is a little oil burn but only and high RPM understandable. so if any one knows PLEASE help!!!!

Re: weird oil leek
sounds like the headgasket to me. or a crack in the block.

Re: weird oil leek
well, i am no expert, but if there is an oil leak between the head and the block, it could be the head gasket. maybe someone with a little more experience can weigh in.
maybe. severity |
