JDM VQ35DETT swap F/s in SoCal - who wants the fastest Z around? ;)

Hey guys and gals ~

My Japanese importer found me SICK new Skyline GT-R motor for my Z, but I sold it before swapping motors, so I'd like to finally get it set up in someone's car - we're talking about a:bowdown: FACTORY Nissan VQ35DETT :bowdown: . I don't know if any of you guys have seen/heard about them, but its what's going to power the next Skyline GT-Rs, and is totally stock ~ I've got everything you need to swap into your 350z/G35, including the factory exhaust if you want it.

I haven't put it in a chassis to dyno it, but its got bigger turbines than the RB26DETT and lower compression than its NA counterpart, so we're all expecting 350 rwhp right out of the box, and we can go as mild or wild as you want.

$7000 for the entire package, picked up at Milano Motorsports in La Crescenta, CA, or...

mmmmhmmm, do a $7000 engine swap to get 50 extra hp when you could mod the hell outta your motor with the money

the potential of the stock VQ35DE sucks ~ bearings/rods go at 400hp, sometimes less. $7000 is a good starting point for building an NA motor (Forged stroker crank, cro-mo rods, forged oversized pistons, bore and rehone the block, porting, oversized valves, injectors, clutch) - I could go on and on ~

The whole point is that this engine is built around boost and doesn't need new internals until you're around 600hp ~ thats a LOT of headroom, and basically guarantees a 11sec car with just bolt-ons

That's right, there is no FACTORY Turbo VQ yet! Even if there is, it's safely away from public eyes at Nissan design in Japan. The R35 is not even out in Japan (until 07 and 08 in USA). People are just guessing at the specs.

The new GTR is not even out yet how the hell do you figure that your "importer" got you an engine from Japan's most top-secret car when nobody even knows what the engine will actually be? By the way that is a 350Z exhaust and tranny. The new GT is AWD and has dual tipped exhaust. Seems to me like you got your hands on a wrecked 350Z engine that just happend to have a TT conversion.
