motor swap

i own a 73 cougar w/ a 351 c and an fmx trans, i want to tear it down and have it completely rebuilt, both of them, during this down time i have found a 429 4 bbl, w/ a c6 trans im thinking about droppin it into the cougar... can i do this with relative ease or will there be many a 4 letter word and lots of fab?
