calm down, I know you're capable of complete sentences man!

Firstly, theres a tensioner somewhere that you loosen to remove the belt. Secondly, there may be an overflow antifreeze or washer fluid tank in the way to use the pulley remover. Just unbolt it and find a place to set it out of the way. I know I've said some vague things, but hopefully its helpful.

are you sure the autozone rented you a supercharger pulley puller? there are a few different pullers for different pulleys and most auto stores dont rent supercharger pullers due to the lack of demand. the belt HAS to come off but it does so in seconds (with a 15mm ratchet) when you torque the tensioner pulley away from the belt. be careful not to damage the s/c snout when removing the pulley or installing the new one.

no they did not rent me out one..they had one but it was the wrong one ...I don't know where to get a puller tool who will rent one out to me? I just went to goodyear but they wouldn't change my pulley because they didn't want to be reliable and I asked if they could put in the autolite 104s and they said I should not be putting those in my car because they are crap...so I don't know what to do.

you should change the plugs yourself but if you cant do them then find a trusting mechanic (not goodyear) most places will not put in plugs that you give them especialy if they are not the same heat range b/c they dont want to be liable if the plug fouls.(and the fact that they make money on their plugs not yours.) also how many miles on your riviera? did you get a 180* t-stat along with the plugs? are you injectors clean and running good?
zzp, intense, 3800perf, etc will all rent out pullers and you may be able to find a local performance shop that has one too.

http://www.regalgs.org/forum/viewtop...80b809187a26e3

i also encourage you to do your own empirical research on things like plug name brand, 180* vs 160* t-stat. and everything i advise is b/c i have done the research/testing and used the part on my car. but dont take just my opinion on it look it up online (www.regalgs.org is a great resource too)

you can pull out the t-stat and look on the bottom of it (most likely it will say 195 you will need a 180 to reduce KR with the new pulley)

t-stat is the thermostat for the cooling system of your car, it is located behind the water outlet where the upper radiator hose connects to the engine. there are 2 bolts holding it on. you will need to let out some of the radiator fluid to take it out or it will spill when you take it off. you can get a new good t-stat (180 is what i recommend) from napa or autozone, etc. they run about $7 and come with a new gasket.

loosen the radiator plug on the driver side of the radiator (bottom) there is a hole in the plastic bumper thingy that you can reach the drain plug from.

do this on a cold engine! you dont have to drain all on the antifreeze but enough that you wont have an overflow
