CD Player installation

I need instructions ASAP on how to remove the stock player in a 1999 SE. I cant figure out how to get the panel off. Please help somone!!

Re: CD Player installation

This is actually a fairly simple process.

1) Remove the little ring around the key. Do this by twisting it. If you don't, it will break when you remove the panel.
2) Grab inside the storage compartment and on the side of the panel and pull towards you. It should pop off with just a little effort.
3) Remove the hazard, trac control, and cigarette lighter wiring harness.
4) Remove the full panel.
5) Remove the three bolts that are holding in the stereo.
6) Remove the wiring harness from the back of the stereo.
7) Your home free....
