Where is the Ignition Module located

Where is the Ignition Module located on my:
1995 VIII - 4.6 liter - dual coil packs with no distributor.

All Marks are 4.6L. No need to specify engine size.
They also all came with coil packs or coil on plugs (2nd gen)

Follow the wires going into the coilback, and find the ign. module. I don't remember if the 1st gen marks had an ign. module or if the packs are controlled straight by the pcm.

the EDIS module is located under the plastic piece that sits atop the LEFT FRONT strut. remove the two mock-screw tabs, and pull up. it is marked EDIS.




and all 93-96 Mark VIII's used coil packs with wires.
97-98 used C.O.P.(coil on plug)
