Fact or Fiction

hey guys was wondering if you are constantly flooring your car like taking off wen the light turns green, always raceing, will this cause serious damage to the engine like i know it might cause damage later in years but like as of now can it make the car slower, false starts, or anything like that any information would be greatly appreciated.

Engines are designed to work in this manner although you will shorten the life of the components inside the engine by abuse. If you intend to race or hammer the engine more than normal make sure you maintain it by using good quality oil and changing it frequently. Also maintain the coolant and fuel system and transmission. By doing this you can extend the life of the car.
