It keeps Reving

This morning when I started my car it reved almost red lining I shut the car of and then turned it back on, the same. After shuting it on and off for a while it was ok but it was still idling about 3000 and that's not normal if anyone has any ideas or sallutions pl let me know.

try the idle air control valve - it gets clogged just like the throttle body

95s dont use idle air valve
they use Idle speed control device.
Replace that and or also look for a vacuum leak
