brake problem

When I step on the brakes of my 96 K1500 I hear a slight grinding noise and it doesn't come to a very smooth stop. Any ideas what could be wrong?

Probably metal to metal on the inner pad (front) or the rear is worn down to the rivots.

Time to pull the wheels and inspect the brakes. The longer you drive it, the more money you will spend (on replacement parts).

Re: brake problem

Time for some new pads and probably rotors and calipers, depending on how the pads look.
