M3 engine In a 318??

Hmm..quick question..is it possible to swap an M3 engine into a 318 1992?? if it is, what do i need With the engine..and how mush does it cost..like 4-6k?? Thx all! Oh and if its not..what good engine better than the 2.5l 189hp can be swaped inthe 318 and price plz!!

At a car show last year I saw a ti with a M3 6cly installed. She sounded nice...
How about 200hp with your 4cly? Check out that supercharger from ... what was their name? Some place in Georgia...

Which M3 engine are we talking about? The S14 I4 from the E30, S50 3.0l I6 in the OBD1 E36s, S52 3.2l in the OBD2 E36s, or the S54 in the E46 M3? Also are we talking about a US spec or a European spec engine?

More specifics would be useful.
